Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy
Joyalukkas Jewellery is committed to preventing money laundering and terrorist financing across our international operations, adhering to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) 40 Recommendations, which establish global standards for AML and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT).To ensure compliance, we conduct on all customers through Customer Due Diligence (CDD), verifying their identities. We utilize advanced transaction monitoring systems to scrutinize transactions for suspicious activity, especially focusing on large or unusual transactions. Comprehensive records of all transactions and customer identification documents are maintained for at least five years, in line with international standards.
Employee training is vital to our AML efforts; all relevant staffs receive regular training on AML/CFT regulations and procedures for identifying and reporting suspicious activities. We have established clear internal mechanisms for employees to report any concerns which are promptly addressed by our compliance team.
Our AML compliance program is overseen by a designated AML Compliance Officer who ensures adherence to applicable laws and regulations. We conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential money laundering risks associated with our products, services, and geographic locations.
